“Our Lake Winnipesaukee home on Brendan’s Corner in Moultonborough, NH has been in the family for almost 40 years. Originally more a lake cottage, there had various expansions over those many years. The immense project & challenge that Kristen Wright came upon in 2020/21 was to 90% design, rebuild, renovate, expand and modernize - while also maintaining the charm, legacy & history of the original property. Kristen expertly wove many aspects of the original into the final product. The ultimate design, layout, furniture & artwork resulted in about a 75/25 new/old ratio - which is exactly what we were striving towards. Further, Kristen served as the ultimate Project Manager. It almost does her a disservice to refer to her the interior designer in the context of this major project. She truly managed the vision, space planning, sourcing fixtures and furnishings, plumbing, electrical, storage and move-in logistics, budgeting and much, much more – all while traveling back and forth between states and remaining cost conscious.
